The winning quilts had stunning details, down to the folds in fabric and individual hairs on animals. Of course one has to wonder if it is worth the time invested in such detail when, as you observe, some details can be left out and the viewer will still know we intended. I definitely vote for mystery and abstraction.ellen simonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06649832555778824187noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1210759514036256082.post-40298858105098598902016-11-06T08:07:25.622-08:002016-11-06T08:07:25.622-08:00Thanks so much Ariane!!! Having read your post I am wondering if it's because I too like a bit of mystery. I would like to try a more abstract approach and you have given me lots to think about, thank you.Karenhttp://www.lincsinstitches.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1210759514036256082.post-51699922719441933322016-11-06T01:50:31.960-07:002016-11-06T01:50:31.960-07:00what an interesting blog. thank you from Northern ...what an interesting blog. thank you from Northern IrelandIrene MacWilliamhttp://www.irenemacwilliam.co.uknoreply@blogger.com
